§ Catalogue

Twelve engineering services, delivered by one team.

The services below describe the work we do. Every engagement is scoped individually — most of our clients combine two or three of these disciplines within a single programme.

Service / 01

Custom Software Development

Bespoke applications, built to a written specification, delivered as long-lived products.

We build software where off-the-shelf products cannot meet the requirement — because the domain is unusual, the integration surface is complex, or the operational model demands it. Engagements begin with a discovery phase that produces a written brief, then move through iterative delivery cycles with working software at every review.

Typical use

  • Regulated back-office platforms replacing legacy internal tooling
  • Operational systems that coordinate physical assets, people or vehicles
  • Domain-specific applications where COTS software imposes the wrong workflow

Value delivered

Software that matches how the organisation actually works, owned outright, and documented well enough to be operated by another team.

Service / 02

Web Application Development

Modern web platforms with strong front-ends and durable back-ends.

We build browser-based applications that are fast, accessible and maintainable. Our default stack — TypeScript, React or Svelte on the front, well-typed services on the back — is chosen for stability and team availability, not novelty. Accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) and performance budgets are treated as acceptance criteria.

Typical use

  • Customer-facing SaaS products carrying transactional data
  • Internal operational consoles that replace spreadsheets and ad-hoc tools
  • Public-facing services that must remain available under variable load

Value delivered

Web applications that load quickly, work for every user, and remain a pleasure to change three years after launch.

Service / 03

Mobile Application Development

Native and cross-platform mobile products, engineered for reliability in the field.

We ship native iOS and Android applications, and — where the trade-off favours it — cross-platform builds on React Native or Kotlin Multiplatform. Offline resilience, background sync, crash telemetry and store-compliance are handled from day one, not added at the end.

Typical use

  • Field-operations apps used by technicians in low-connectivity environments
  • Consumer applications with strict privacy and consent requirements
  • Companion apps for hardware products with Bluetooth or IoT integration

Value delivered

Mobile products that behave correctly on the devices your users actually own, and pass store review without drama.

Service / 04

Cloud Solutions

Landing zones, migrations and platform build-outs on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

We design cloud environments as products in their own right. Every environment is provisioned as code, versioned, and paired with observability and cost controls. Migrations are staged, rehearsed and reversible.

Typical use

  • Greenfield landing zones with multi-account structure and SSO from day one
  • Migrations from on-premises or legacy cloud estates to modern architectures
  • Cost-engineering programmes that reduce spend without impairing reliability

Value delivered

A cloud estate that engineering teams can operate confidently, with a clear cost model and no hidden lock-in.

Service / 05

IT Consulting

Independent technical review, architecture advisory and delivery diagnostics.

Sometimes the useful thing is a second pair of eyes. We are engaged to review architectures, audit vendor deliverables, diagnose stalled programmes, and advise on technology choices. Every consulting engagement produces a written report the client can act on.

Typical use

  • Architecture review before a major build or migration
  • Vendor and supplier technical due diligence
  • Delivery diagnostics on programmes that are missing milestones

Value delivered

A clear, defensible technical opinion, produced by engineers who have built the systems in question themselves.

Service / 06

Cybersecurity

Threat modelling, secure development, hardening programmes and incident response support.

We work security into the way software is built rather than bolt it on afterwards. Engagements range from application-security reviews and threat modelling to secure-SDLC rollouts and post-incident stabilisation. We align to ISO 27001, SOC 2, OWASP ASVS and the relevant NIST controls.

Typical use

  • Application-security reviews prior to a regulated launch
  • Rolling out a secure development lifecycle across an in-house team
  • Post-incident stabilisation, root-cause analysis and remediation planning

Value delivered

A security posture that stands up to external audit and to real adversaries — not just to a checklist.

Service / 07

Data Analytics

Warehouses, pipelines and analytical models that make organisational data usable.

We build the layer between raw operational data and the people who need to make decisions with it. Pipelines are tested, transformations are versioned, and analytical models are documented so that new analysts can be productive within days rather than months.

Typical use

  • Consolidating scattered operational systems into a single warehouse
  • Introducing rigorous data modelling to fast-growing product organisations
  • Building trustworthy KPI reporting for leadership and board audiences

Value delivered

Data infrastructure that answers questions quickly and correctly, and that non-engineers trust.

Service / 08

Artificial Intelligence Solutions

Applied machine learning and generative-AI systems, delivered with the same discipline as the rest of the work.

We treat AI systems like any other production system: with a defined problem, an evaluation harness, versioned models, monitoring, and a way to roll back. We are equally willing to say when a machine-learning approach is not the right tool.

Typical use

  • Retrieval-augmented systems over internal document corpora
  • Classification and forecasting models integrated into operational workflows
  • Evaluation infrastructure for teams already using large language models

Value delivered

AI features that behave predictably in production, and that the team operating them understands.

Service / 09

System Integration

Connecting operational systems through resilient, well-documented interfaces.

Most enterprise environments contain a dozen or more systems that need to talk to each other. We design integrations that are observable, idempotent, and resilient to the systems on either side going down. Event-driven where the domain benefits; simple synchronous APIs where it does not.

Typical use

  • ERP, CRM and finance-system integration across a heterogeneous estate
  • Industry-platform integrations (payments, clinical, logistics, identity)
  • Migration integrations that keep two systems in step during a transition

Value delivered

Integrations that are visible when they work and diagnosable when they do not.

Service / 10

Infrastructure Management

Long-term custody of production platforms, with defined SLAs.

We take operational responsibility for platforms we have built and, selectively, for platforms we have inherited. Infrastructure management includes patching, capacity planning, incident response and quarterly architectural review — under an agreed service level.

Typical use

  • Managed operation of production cloud environments
  • 24/7 on-call cover for critical services
  • Quarterly architectural and cost reviews with written recommendations

Value delivered

A platform that keeps running reliably, with a named team accountable for it.

Service / 11

Software Maintenance

Ongoing custody of applications, including corrective, adaptive and evolutionary work.

Software does not stop needing engineering when it goes live. We provide long-running maintenance for applications — fixing defects, keeping dependencies current, adapting to platform changes, and shipping small enhancements — under a defined monthly capacity.

Typical use

  • Custody of a business-critical application that lacks an in-house team
  • Dependency-and-security maintenance for a portfolio of internal tools
  • Incremental modernisation of aging codebases without a big-bang rewrite

Value delivered

Software that continues to earn its place, without accumulating hidden risk.

Service / 12

Quality Assurance

Test strategy, automation and quality engineering embedded in the delivery process.

We do not treat QA as a separate downstream activity. Test strategy is defined alongside architecture, automation is written alongside features, and quality engineers work inside the delivery team. Where clients need independent verification, we can also provide it as a discrete engagement.

Typical use

  • Introducing a test pyramid to a team that ships mainly through manual QA
  • Building CI/CD pipelines that gate on meaningful automated checks
  • Independent verification of a system built by another supplier

Value delivered

Software the team can change without fear, and a release process that catches regressions before users do.
